Delhi Golf Club (The Lodhi)

Location: Delhi, India

### **Delhi Golf Club ** began life as the Lodhi Golf Club, laid out in the 1930s as a municipal course before becoming a corporate entity in 1950. Spread across roughly 220 acres, it comprises the championship 18-hole, par-72 Lodhi Course — redesigned by Peter Thomson in 1976-77 and part of the Asian PGA Tour — alongside the shorter 9-hole Peacock Course. What sets it apart is history woven right into play: Mughal-era tombs like Lal Bangla and Barakhamba sit within the fairways themselves. With around 4,000 members and a decades-long waiting list, DGC has hosted the Indian Open and, in 2025, the DP World India Championship. Golfing in Delhi or dreaming of a round at the Lodhi?
